I'm Chiara, and I dress the family dogs

Growing up among cutting tables, rolls of fabric, and paws pitter-pattering on the floor. Tailoring was my first love, my passion for dogs the second.

In my workshop, I design and create sartorial accessories for dogs attending weddings and ceremonies, created so they can stay close to their families. Models that follow the dog’s movements without restricting them, soft and breathable materials, and color palettes that harmonize with attire, flowers, and the atmosphere of the event.

I have studied and worked for over 25 years in the fashion world, traveling extensively, especially in India. There, I learned that beauty can be simple and intense at the same time, made of small things, care, and patience. It is a perspective I bring with me every day, even in my workshop: in the way I choose materials and in the continuous search for a balance between aesthetics and functionality.

The dogs in my life taught me the rest: to slow down, to observe better, and to respect their ways and their pace. They showed me that they don’t want to be made uncomfortable; they simply want to be there, by our side, on every occasion. BowPawTie was born from this vision: from the desire to dress them with dignity, leaving them free to move, curious and serene.
